My secured credit card came through for me. Thanks to using my secured credit card for every monthly bill that would allow for "auto-pay", I had an excellent payment history with all my utilities providers; water, electric, gas utilities and so forth. I also had an excellent payment history with my secured credit card provider, which they reported to the credit reporting agencies. As most mortgage lenders are looking for ways to approve your application, rather than rejecting it, I was approved for the loan. I am now a homeowner and quite proud of the fact. I owe it all to secured credit cards. Without the availability of secured credit cards, I wouldn't have been able to buy my house or qualify for "regular" credit cards. That's right. I'm now flooded with offers for credit cards from it seems, every credit card provider on the planet. But that's OK with me. I smile everytime I get a piece of junkmail soliciting my business. I'm back, and secured credit cards helped me get here. |
